Thank you so much for putting this list together. These are great writing prompts. These remind me of the questions on StoryShelter. Anyone who does narrative or personal writing will find it really useful. Wonderful list! The topics are thought-provoking and exciting to write. I can go writing on and on, on these topics. I know a little bit about my family history. My grandma talks about our religion sometimes, not every day. So I get to hear some facts about my religion. My family history is very interesting. My dad side of the family, my great great grandma, grandpa and aunts and uncles.

They are living in Thailand. I want to go to Thailand really bad. My mom side of the family, my great great grandpa, grandma and my grandma siblings. They are living in Cambodia. My grandma took some pictures in Asia. It looks so different than the United States of America. So first off, my dad he was born in Thailand and my mom I think she was born in Cambodia. So my family parents, grandparents, aunts and uncle immigrated to the United States of America and became citizens. That time they lived in Stockton, California. I could of live there still. But my dad he went to school in New Hampshire and got a job here and the job over here paid a lot more money than California.

I tried to clear my vision by wiping the tears away. Even with the light wind, the water pooling from my eyes would not dry. After my failed attempt to stop crying, I looked down at my fingers and saw black streaks of my mascara and eyeliner. I take out the scented Kleenex tissues from my bag and wipe my fingers on them. The only thing filling the silence was the constant sobs coming from people around me and my own.

I found. I long to be free. To be free from the metal chains that hold me down. To be free from the whispering as I descend into my empty slumber. My day begins again with a drone of the same ringtone of the alarm. Getting up to open the window forgetting about the same old raven bird that stares at me with its whole black eyes sending you into a black spiral.

Personal Narrative My Life I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me. I have chosen to go to the local community college to get used to the college experience.

College life can be an exciting time but at the same time it can be a challenge. I feel that starting out at the community college would be a better chose than "jumping" into life at a …show more content… I know this is what I want to do with my life. I want to be a positive influence in the lives of children. I want to be able to stand up and show the children that it is okay to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in. I am a well round student. For nine years I was actively involved in a girls organization. This experience taught me many things. We were actively involved in community service activities, for which I received the Silver Award.

The second highest award in the organization. I learned about the value of friendship and patients with others. This organization first introduced me to my future career. I was also involved for three and a half years in a student government club on campus. In this club I learned many life lessons. One of which was the value of hard work. My responsibilities included planning corranation, buying and organizing decorations, planning the busing schedule, booking the photographers, fundraising, ect.

This taught me about hard work. But the best part of it was going to Prom knowing I was one of the only reasons that it happened.
